Leaf Institute of Art & Vocation is a non-profit art education pilot program for the Upstate of South Carolina. We offer classes designed especially for middle and high school students, while available to aspiring artists at every age and skill level. During our opening classes, we will focus especially on foundational drawing and painting, including portraits and plein air (outdoor) landscapes. In coming semesters, we plan to expand our offerings in printmaking, illustration, art entrepreneurship, art history and more.
Our instructors are trained educators and professional artists in their own right, across a variety of media and contexts. Our classes may be used as supplemental art enrichment, in partnership with an accredited secondary or vocational school, or as extended education for working professionals both within and outside the field of art.
We approach our program from a Christian faith-based perspective, while welcoming students from all backgrounds.

Basic drawing, basic painting (watercolor, gouache, acrylic), portrait drawing, plein air landscape painting, book discussion groups
