Artist Statement

Blurring the lines between abstraction and realism, I create loosely assembled images with soft edges ... imparting a mood, a suggestion, without detail.

I attempt to create a feeling - a mood - through the use of color, light, and subject matter, most commonly found in nature ... Nature is my inspiration, teacher and healer and I create in order to wrap myself in the process and in the moment.
