Artist Statement
Since I came back to metalwork after retiring from teaching art in public and private schools I have been engrossed in creating small sculptural forms and box shapes which can be worn as jewelry. These are hollow-formed, forged or fabricated in sterling silver, brass or copper, or perhaps in a combination. Recently my intention is to embody in my work what I am learning in life as I grow older.
