Artist Statement

Currently, I am focused on a series of small watercolor paintings depicting the homeless population in Greenville County.  I hope they will give a face and an identity to these largely ignored people and show us that they are not so different from us. I am also exploring encaustic painting as another means of expressing universal common human elements.
