Artist Statement

I paint on wood because I enjoy the organic feel the surface evokes.  Line, shape, color and often negative space are the tools I use to portray my feelings of the joy and beauty of the world.  My current subjects include figures interacting with the landscape and various aspects of nature.

Directions

From downtown Greenville, go north on Poinsett Hwy towards Furman University. Take the Old Buncombe Rd exit (Timmons Arena). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Old Buncombe Rd. Turn right onto Duncan Chapel Rd. Go less than 0.5 miles past the entrance to Timmons Arena and turn left onto Zelma Dr. #5 is the second house on the left.
