My goal as an artist is to capture the spirit of life while inviting viewers to embrace a plethora of colors and interesting shapes that may be out of the ordinary. I use vibrant colors, bold brushstrokes, and intriguing shapes to awaken the viewer and ignite a sense of wonder and pleasure. My brilliantly colored palette is inspired not only by the beauty of nature but also by simple things in everyday life: colorful pieces of glass, pottery, fabric, and random objects in my home and in the world around me. I create art almost every day because it’s akin to breathing to me; I can’t imagine a life without creating, whether it’s painting, drawing, or even coloring.

I began drawing and painting as a toddler and haven’t stopped. I paint with acrylics but also create mixed media pieces using my own painted paper. I love adding oil crayons, pencil and ink to my work…… and a box of 64 crayons still gives me a thrill!

Take I-385 towards Columbia. Exit left at Simpsonville exit. Follow this until you reach College Street on your left. Go 3 blocks until you are at the last 4-way stop. You'll be looking at the Art Center at this point! Take a right, building is on your left, parking in front of bldg. or across the street.
