CAROL ANN GOOD
I am currently an elementary art educator at Plain Elementary School in Simpsonville, SC. I spend my days teaching future generations of artists ancient, classical, modern and contemporary art history as well as studio art. This experience of teaching young artists fuels and informs my studio practice. I am a painter using acrylic and oil on canvas and wood panel. For mixed media artworks, I use some of these same materials overlaid with collage materials and drawings. From my studio I gaze out a bank of east facing windows and over and through a suburban forest of trees filled with light, deep shadows wind and sun. Nature, it seems, is one of my cherished inspirations to create art.
