Call for Art: Christmas Season

Trails Art Gallery in Greenville, South Carolina invites submissions for a juried exhibition, Christmas Season, honoring the spirit and beauty of Christmas. Artists are encouraged to explore what this time of year means to them.
Original 2D artwork only
Accepted 2D media include painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, and mixed media.
Digitally created artwork, including digital paintings, comic illustrations, and AI-generated artwork, is not accepted. Digital photography is accepted.
Size: 8×8 minimum – 30×30 maximum
Must be framed or gallery wrapped and ready to hang with wire
Up to 3 entries per artist
This exhibit is open to artists ages 18 and over residing in the Upstate region of South Carolina

Include: Artist Name, Mailing Address, Phone & Email, Artwork Title, Medium, Artwork Size (H x W) Artist Statement/ Inspiration (l-2 sentences), High-Resolution image of Each Artwork (JPEG or PNG). Selling Price.
Artists with selected work will be notified by November 19th, 2026
All artwork must be for sale, Commission split: 60% artist / 40% gallery. Awards totaling $180 will be given: First Place: $100 cash, Second Place: $50 Trails Jewelry, Estate & Art Gallery gift card, Third Place: $30 Trails Jewelry, Estate & Art Gallery gift card.
Artwork may be used for gallery promotion.
No entry fee.
Dates:
Submission Deadline: November 15th, 2026. Artwork Dropoff: November 24th & 25th. Frist Friday Artist Reception: December 4th. Exhibition Dates: December 1st – December 30th. Unsold Artwork Pick-Up: January 6th -8th, 2027.
