I make jewelry because I feel incomplete if I do not create. I chose metal as my medium because of the endless ways it can be formed & changed- it is a non-stop learning process that is so fun to experiment with. I am always learning new techniques by talking to other metalsmiths or simply by picking up a book. I mainly work with silver & copper that I incorporate with unusual items, like stamps, photographs, eggshell, river rock & epoxy resin. My most cherished tool is my rolling mill- I use it to texturize & transfer designs onto metal. I feel such satisfaction when a drawing or idea turns into a piece of 3 dimensional art to share with others.
