Keith Seitz creates figurative, emotional snapshots influenced by digital communications that surround us in our daily lives. The characters seem playful but are impacted by digital signals that swirl around us all in our daily lives. The digital signals are represented by symbols and the solid forms (manifestations) within each piece. The figure’s thoughts, words and vision are distorted by these digital signals. In some cases, they pass information on to others or absorb the distortion themselves.

Pyrography is permanent, and once the process is started the dance begins. He loves the experience of creating permanence on a wood panel and then reacting to it. This dance of form and color and looking into a piece to reveal the next step is exciting for him. The results are unique, finely crafted experiences that make bold statements within each installation.
