Roots Studio is a shared studio space for Brooke Waters Pottery and Meraki to create in.
I started Meraki in 2018 and am originally from Australia. Meraki means “to put a piece of yourself in your work” and that is exactly what I hope to do. I want to turn things that once brought me sorrow into something beautiful that brings joy. I work with clay and hand draw florals and cities on porcelain. I recently started a line called Meraki Paper which features digital drawings, postcards and stickers featuring some of my favorite Greenville spaces!
Directions
Travel north on E Stone Ave toward Ashmore St. Turn right onto US-276 W/ Rutherford St. Continue onto Poinsett Hwy. Turn right onto Old Buncombe Rd/Roe Ford Rd. Turn left onto Frontage Rd/Old Buncombe Rd. Turn right onto Pine Forest Rd. Turn right onto Pinelands Pl. Continue down to the end of the cul-de-sac. The house will be on the left side of the cul-de-sac.
