budpnq (say, "bud-bud") is etched glass jewelry by Katie Fenske. Her 13th summer, while visiting her grandparents on Florida's Space Coast, Katie's grandpa, Bud, gave her some string and her first collection of vintage glass beads to help occupy her time with him at the antiques store where he worked. He had no idea just how much of her time glass beads would go on to occupy.

Katie lives with her bright teen child and perpetually napping dog in her hometown of Greenville, SC. When she's not etching and stringing vintage glass beads, she's taking photos or hunting for something absurd and beautiful to add to her collection of such things.

From the MAC office, head northeast on Augusta St. and continue on River Street. Turn left onto Falls Park Dr. Turn right onto South Academy St. Turn left onto College St. Continue on SC-183/Pete Hollis Blvd to Old Buncombe Rd. Turn right onto Old Old Buncombe Rd. In approx. 1.1 miles, studio will be on the left (look for “Artifacts”
