Humans are in a constant state of processing information through the stimuli of a moment: through colors, movement, textures, inflection, tone, etc. My focus revolves around how this internalization shapes our memories and how this effects moments of connection both with others and with ourselves. It is within these moments that connections are made and, in turn, connections are missed. I examine these moments through the lens of my own life: as mother, as daughter, as wife, as woman. It's all that we say and all that we do not say that create the full experience and in turn, shape our memory of that moment in time.
