My work is built through a layered, physical process of adding, removing, and reworking materials over time. Each painting develops through repetition and adjustment, allowing structure to emerge gradually rather than from a fixed plan.

I’m interested in the balance between control and unpredictability—how something can feel active and in motion while still holding together. The surfaces often carry tension, but within that, there are moments of clarity and stability.

Working at larger scales allows for a more physical and immersive process, which is essential to how the work evolves. Each piece is created as a one-of-one, with a focus on building a cohesive body of work rather than isolated results.

Through this approach, I aim to create work that is visually engaging while remaining open to interpretation, allowing viewers to connect with it in their own way.
