Mission Statement

International Ballet's mission is to represent classical and contemporary ballet by offering world-class productions and training to the Greenville community. With a focus on professional quality performances and a commitment to fostering local talent and meaningful outreach programs, International Ballet continues to transcend boundaries and cultures to inspire audiences with a performing arts experience unlike any other.

Classes Offered

International Ballet's leadership and faculty boast professional resumés with world-wide performing experience, extensive and credentialed teaching experience, and proven care for the needs of children and families. The academic year training program is based on the Russian (Vaganova) technique and consists of Lower Division (Pre-Ballet through Ballet 2), Upper Division (Ballet 3 through Pre-Professional), and Supplemental Classes in Contemporary, Pointe, Variations, Jazz, Studio Performance Group, and Adult Classes. Summer offerings include a three-week summer intensive in June, children's summer camps in July, and intermediate, advanced, and adult classes throughout the summer months. IB alumni include principal dancers in professional ballet companies, scholarship award recipients in top college dance programs, and professionals in dance related fields such as choreography, teaching, and arts administration.
