Grace Pate Pouch lives with her husband and two children right next door to the house she grew up in. As a child, Grace enjoyed consistent exposure to the arts and loved to draw. She studied Art History at Davidson College, and later went to seminary for a Masters in ministry. Grace enjoys splitting her time between the two fields of Christian spiritual formation and art and design. She is co-owner of Darling Interiors Greenville, and paints alongside her dad and brother at the Pate Studio near the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Surrounded by sculptures and fine art at the Pate Studio, Grace finds a constant source of inspiration and the opportunity to play with technique. The human form continues to be her favorite subject matter, and she creates both realistic and abstract expressions of human figures. Directions
From downtown, take College St past Heritage Green to Buncombe St. Continue straight on Pete Hollis Blvd until it becomes Cedar Lane Rd. Pate studio is across the street and up one block from the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery. It is the central, two story building in the row of businesses on the right. There is a lane for parking along the front of the building.
