Glory Day Loflin was raised in a rural setting in South Carolina. She graduated with concentrations in Painting and Sculpture from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 2014 and earned her MFA in Painting and Sculpture from Clemson University in 2023. She has participated in numerous assistantships at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and Penland School of Craft was admitted to Penland Winter Residency for ceramics in 2020. Her work can be seen in New American Paintings, Southern Living, Traditional Home, Create! Magazine and HGTV's series "Happy at Home with the Benkos" via Magnolia Network. Additionally her work has been collected by cooperate entities such as Baptist Medical Center Clay (FL), the Wolfson Children’s Hospital New Tower of the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville (FL), Credit Karma Charlotte (NC), Canvas (SC), ScanSource (SC), and the Mayo Clinic. Loflin's work is also in private collection of Mark Peacock and Jonathan Van Ness.
