Charlie Pate was born in Florence, SC in 1957. He graduated from Ringling School of Art in 1978. Charlie lives and works in Greenville, SC, where he creates sculptures of all sizes and paints portraits and landscapes in oil and pastel. Charlie’s work can be found in boardrooms and corporate headquarters, colleges and universities, museum permanent collections, and the South Carolina State House, as well as gracious homes all over the southeast.
