The past two years have been important times of growth for me both as a person and artist. My artistic process has paralleled my spiritual journey. I have done intense reading, research, and meditation on “finding” happiness. Throughout this time, I finally came to the realization that happiness was not a goal, but rather a way of living; being at peace with myself and the world around me. My work is an exploration of art combining traditional and digital media paralleling my journey exploring life and ideas of love, peace, mindfulness, meditation, release of attachment, and self reflection. Throughout this exploration I also make sure my personal voice, style, and identity is showcased. I am a woman, Egyptian, and goth, all parts of my identity that are reflected through my stylistic choices and content.
