Growing up in Appalachian Mountains afforded me one of the best playgrounds a child could wish for. My playground now is my studio where I get to create art, whether it’s a mixed media piece, acrylic painting or designing fabric, anything goes. I try not to define what kind of artist I am, I like being an artist across all genres because it keeps things fresh and interesting. Art is not just the canvas on the wall but so many other objects in our interiors that enrich our lives so I see no reason to stay within the lines.
