Artist Statement

Combining a love of line and the quirkiness of nature, I've become most known for my wire taxidermy; hand twisted steel creatures ranging from mythical to everyday and everything in between. After moving to Greenville from Charleston, SC in 2019, I've used the new space and region for inspiration to explore multiple mediums including stepping back into illustration, lettering, and a modern take on hand embroidery. My goal is to perpetually learn and push the boundaries of mediums to create work that brings out the imagination and playfulness of the people who interact with pieces.
