Her family moved to Detroit Michigan when she was six years of age, Alcine graduated from Saint Rose high school went on to study art and art history at “The Center for Creative Studies”. She work in both Detroit as an illustrator and later in Chicago, looking for greater career opportunities, she eventually moved to New York from New York she saw opportunities overseas and worked in Denmark and Germany as a fashion illustrator. Europe would be her home for 21 years. She has returned to the US and is now living in Greenville South Carolina, where she continues to pursue her love for painting and illustrating she especially loves painting African-American portraits.
