The art of collaging and creating your very own individualized, one-of-a-kind greeting cards can be very rewarding. It's fun, relaxing, stirs your imagination, and the end result will bring a smile on the face of your card's recipient. What better satisfying win-win experience is that?!
With this in mind, come join professional Greenville artist, Leslie Lakes for a two hour collage art note card workshop at the Wild Hare Gallery in Travelers Rest. The initial workshop on July 19th was a blast and received rave reviews.
Workshop includes all the materials that you'll need, including a baker's dozen set of blank cards with matching envelopes (sizes A7 and A2); glue sticks, assorted ephemera clippings and photos from old books and magazines, colored pencils, envelope seals and transparent acid free sleeves in which to place your handmade card sets. You are welcome to bring any of your own favorite ephemera to work with (example: photos, postcards, maps, sheet music, old stamps. flat buttons, stickers, etc.). If there are subject matters that you are most interested in, please let me know ahead of time.
This workshop is limited to only four registrants, so if interested, make your reservation and payment as soon as you can.
