Simple forms and expressive marks shape the direction of my paintings. I'm interested in exploring spatial ideas in a non-illusionistic manner. Visual influences include pattern, architecture and nature. I like my work to carry a sense of mystery and ambiguity, where reality is momentarily suspended, evoking the viewer's own feelings and experiences.
Directions
From downtown Greenville, take North Main to Rutherford Road. Turn right onto Rutherford, then left onto Pleasantburg. Turn right onto Piney Mountain Road. Go to the Montebello subdivision and turn left onto Milan Drive and then an immediate left onto Sorrento Drive. #109 is the 4th house on the left. The studio is in the back.
