I am a painter and my main focus has been on the human figure, finding rhythmic line in the movement of body gesture, shapes in body contours, composition with figures in relationship to one another and the environment, and emotion through the personal connection. I have ventured into narrative imagery with the connection to the mysteries of the natural world, inspired by life’s experiences through the beautiful as well as the darkness from moments of contemplation and reflection through my personal journey. Now I am exploring a more expressionistic style of painting through interesting landscapes and architecture that allow me to let my imagination flow more freely. I truly enjoy exploring different styles and lots of varied subjects. Wherever this journey takes me it is all about showing up, discovery, courage, disappointment, pure joy, paint and the brush.
