My current body of work reflects an ongoing exploration as I expand from fiber into paint. Whether through a standalone painting or a piece that blends both mediums, each work is rooted in a felt impression of memory and emotion. Earlier pieces focused on floriography-inspired paper botanicals and fiber textures. Now, I’m exploring how similar symbolic ideas can be expressed in new ways through gouache, oil, and stitched elements.
Nature remains a central inspiration, though my focus has shifted from specific botanical meanings to a more intuitive and expressive approach. This shift invites a slower kind of viewing, one that allows for personal reflection and interpretation.
Directions
From N Main St, turn left onto College St at the Hyatt Regency. Travel 1 block, then take a right onto Townes St. Continue on Townes 1/4 mile and take a left on Central Ave just past the Academy St overpass. Good Art Co. will be the first parking lot on the right.
