Hal Grossman, violin, will be performing a concert in collaboration with Jennifer John, Director of Strings Chamber Studio at the Fine Arts Center, and the Advanced Student String Ensemble. The program will feature works by Telemann, Bach, Fletcher, and Amy Barlow.
The Fine Arts Center's 2:20 PM Honors Jazz Combo class features four distinguished groups: the Bill Evans Ensemble, the Art Blakey Ensemble, the Wayne Shorter Ensemble and the Miles Davis Ensemble. Each group will present arrangements of Great American Songbook standards, inspired by the legendary artists for whom the ensembles are named.
