This spring, the Fine Arts Center theatre students present a dynamic evening of scenes across the program, from timely modern works to reimagined Shakespeare selections, concluding with a scripted scene presentation reflecting the artistic growth and journey of our graduating senior class.
The Fine Arts Center’s A.M. Jazz Performance class presents its inaugural recital, featuring jazz standards and classics that highlight ensemble playing and developing improvisational skills.
Strings students will perform a diverse program of chamber works by Shostakovich, Mozart, Haydn, Offenbach, and more, highlighting both collaborative ensemble playing and individual artistry. We look forward to celebrating the hard work and musical growth of our students and hope you will join us for an evening of exceptional chamber music.
Students from the Fine Arts Center’s 1:25 PM Jazz Combo class present performances from their Transcription Project. Each student will showcase selected solos and pieces based on their transcriptions of master jazz improvisers, highlighting how close study of these artists’ improvisations informs and inspires their own creativity.
