Music on Sunday Concert Series – The Iliana Rose Trio with Jason DeCristofaro

Iliana Rose and her Trio, with special guest vibraphonist Jason Decristofaro, will perform a concert of Afro-Cuban jazz music. From sultry boleros to fiery mambos, this quartet will delight your ears and get your feet moving!
Iliana Rose is a talented musician deeply influenced by her Cuban heritage. She founded The Iliana Rose Cuban Jazz Band, has served as musical director for groundbreaking projects across genres, and is a skilled composer and arranger. Currently, Iliana serves as the Director of the Jazz Arts Nuestro-Tiempo Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Jason DeCristofaro is an active music educator, multi-instrumentalist and composer, with advanced degrees in Music Education and Performance. Based in Asheville, he is the Director of Creative Arts and Events, Coordinator of Jazz Studies, and Interim Music Department Chair at Warren Wilson College
in Swannanoa, NC. Jason has performed nationally and internationally and is in demand as a clinician in jazz improvisation.
