Music on Sunday Concert Series – Chelsea Holmes-Soprano

Chelsea Holmes is a New York City based soprano known for her thoughtful and stylistically diverse programming. She has performed
repertoire spanning German Lieder, French salon chanson, contemporary American works, and chamber music in settings from concert halls to
jazz clubs, theaters to boathouses and rock quarries, reflecting a broad and adventurous artistic range. MS. Holmes earned a Bachelor of Music degree in
Voice and Opera from Northwestern University’sBienen School of Music, along with a certificate in Musical Theatre from the University’s School of
Communication. She holds a Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In a program spanning jazz, Broadway, and popular
song, from Gershwin to Porter to Rodgers, Chelsea will explore the elegance, wit, and enduring emotional depth of the Great American Songbook.
