Music Adventure classes at Swamp Rabbit Cafe

Music Adventure (established in 2014) is the general music, early education program created by SmartArts teacher and local musician Lynne Holcombe. Each Monday morning families are invited to join in these interactive, high energy classes that provide a foundation for learning basic music concepts, exploration of world music, exposure to a wide variety of folk instruments, the opportunity to join in a shared musical community experience and inspire music appreciation that will last a lifetime. Classes are presented in a flexible way where you can easily join in once or come out weekly to build on musical knowledge. Two age groups are available. 9:30am for 3 years and under and a 10:30am class for older 3’s through about 7 years old which takes a deeper look into music theory concepts. Great for early homeschoolers or getting kids ready for a gentle transition to the classroom environment. Classes run about 40 minutes each. Siblings of all ages are welcome in either class.
