L’Automne

International Ballet opens our 23rd season with L’Automne, the annual fall showcase in the intimate IB Theatre, October 23–25 at 7:30 pm. The program highlights the artistry of IB’s youth company and trainee dancers in a selection of classical works. “We begin the season with L’Automne, which will include the brilliant one-act ballet Paquita, alongside spirited excerpts from La Bayadère, a lively Tarantella (an Italian folk dance) and the Trainees will perform the Harvest Dance from La Fille Mal Gardée staged by Trainee Director Josha Williams. It will be a beautiful performance the audience will really enjoy.” says Artistic Director Vlada Kysselova. Adding to the performances, musical guests include cellist Sharon Gerber and IB alumna and vocalist Eliza Burdette, adding a special touch to the weekend.
