Exploring Glass – Pâte de Verre Techniques with Dori Settles

Discover the intricate and captivating process of pâte de verre (literally “glass paste”) in this hands-on, 5-day intensive workshop led by glass artist Dori Settles.
Students will learn how to use finely ground glass powders, frits, and liquid binders to create colorful, thin, and exquisitely translucent sculptural forms. Through a balance of live demonstrations and guided studio practice, Dori introduces multiple approaches to packing glass materials and working with molds, encouraging participants to experiment, develop new technical skills, and discover their personal artistic voice.
