DRAWN TO DUSK at Good Art Co. presents detailed, fascinating and surreal new graphite and charcoal drawings by Atlanta-based artist Lauren Lesley. This solo exhibition provides a quiet space of reflection and comfort, featuring intimate, carefully rendered images of childhood objects and collected keepsakes that explore how memories become emotional anchors in times of uncertainty.
The title DRAWN TO DUSK represents moments of transition, like coming of age, relocation, grief, and the unspoken tension of an increasingly fragile world in social, environmental, and emotional flux. During these moments, nostalgia becomes both a gentle escape and a way to cope, reconnect, and safeguard the parts of ourselves we fear losing.
