Auditions for Alice in Wonderland

Auditions: February 17, 19, 21, and 24, 2026, with callbacks on February 25 and 26. All roles are available for actors age 18 years and younger who can read a script unassisted (grades 3 and up). Auditions will be held in the Simpsonville Arts Center Auditorium.

Callbacks will be on Wednesday and/or Thursday, February 25 and 26, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 pm. Auditionees must be available one of those days in case they are called back. Not all auditionees will be called back and callbacks are not necessarily indicative of the final casting. Auditioning at any level does not guarantee a role.

Rehearsals: Weds and Thurs evenings (6:00 – 8:00 pm), Saturday mornings (9:00 – 12:00)

In April, additional rehearsals may be added (Mondays and Tuesdays).

Tech rehearsals: April 25 – 29. Attendance is mandatory at all tech rehearsals for all cast members.

No rehearsals the week of Spring Break (March 16 – 20).

– Auditionees must be 18 years or younger to audition and be able to read a script without assistance.
– Auditionees will need to prepare 30-60 seconds of a song of their choice to perform (a capella).
– Auditionees should be prepared to read for two different characters. The scripts are for the roles of: Alice, Caterpillar, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, and Queen of Hearts. Specific scripts for each character can be found here. Scripts do not have to be memorized, but the auditionees should be very comfortable with the parts they are reading for.

-Each cast member will be required to pay a $150 production fee (to be collected at parent meeting/first rehearsal).
