Painting has always been a passion of mine. The subjects of my paintings are people, places, and things close to my heart. I was born and raised in the north east. Our family moved to South Carolina in the 70s where we all fell in love with the south. Since a teenage watercolor has always been my favorite media. It can be more difficult to control and the process takes patients, but I love the soft effect it produces. I attended the fine art center my senior year of high school. In college I majored in Mathematics and became a teacher. Even with all the demands of family and work I have painted and plan to continue painting.
