I paint with oil and watercolor on wood, using layered color, carved textures, and surface detail to create visual depth. The wood adds a natural foundation, and I work with brushes and specialty tools to build each surface through intuition and process.

Most of my work develops instinctively. I don’t begin with a fixed outcome. I follow marks, adjust rhythm, and respond to what’s in front of me until the image resolves. The process is physical, often slow, and shaped by trial, error, and correction.

My influences are always changing. I’m drawn to artists with strong physical techniques or unexpected choices. That openness keeps my practice moving. The goal is simple. To make paintings that feel honest, alive, and grounded in real experience.
