Artist Statement

I currently use both Acrylic and oil to create impressionistic paintings. Painting gives me an opportunity to communicate relationships and contrasts in light, temperature, form and value to express my visual and intuitive experience. My current body of work stems from the inspiration or feelings that a place or landscape brings. Serenity, calmness, and
Vibrancy are how I would describe my pieces. If I am able to give the viewer a new perspective on nature then I’ve accomplished my goal.
