Kate Fagan is a painter native to Greenville whose landscapes capture the ephemeral intersection of place and time. Through oil and acrylic mediums, Kate utilizes light and vibrant color to explore the sacredness of transitory moments. She seeks to magnify the fragile and momentary nature of existence by being attentive to realities both seen and unseen. Informed by sacred art throughout history and her own theological training, she seeks to merge the material with the transcendent.
Kate holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary where she concentrated on the intersection between theology and the fine arts, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in oil painting from Clemson University.
