JO ANN TAYLOR
I consider myself an interpretive painter, visually showing how I feel about the world around me. When “Plein Air Painting” I relate to what I see in a way that shows what is of interest to me. When painting in the studio I rely on my “Mind’s Eye” and what it reveals of personal memories. Expressing my emotions, whether outside or in the studio, seems to be the obvious outcome of my creative work. Even though painting is a personal activity there is a visual result. Therefore, it is hoped that viewers of my work will have an equally enjoyable experience.
