International Ballet's mission is to represent classical and contemporary ballet by offering world-class productions and training to the Greenville community. With a focus on professional quality performances and a commitment to fostering local talent and meaningful outreach programs, International Ballet continues to transcend boundaries and cultures to inspire audiences with a performing arts experience unlike any other.
About
Under the leadership of President & Founder Lena Forster, Artistic Director Vlada Kysselova, and Executive Director Sarah Shoemaker, International Ballet is a Resident Company of the Peace Center, annually presenting The Nutcracker with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, as well as a Fall Concert and Spring Ballet, often featuring principals from world-renowned companies such as Joffrey Ballet, Washington Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, among others. International Ballet is a regular guest performer with Greenville Symphony Orchestra as well as Artisphere, and partners with organizations in the community through its Outreach Programs such as "Storytime Ballet" with the Greenville County Library and its Special Needs Program with Thrive Upstate. While upholding the beauty of time-honored classical dance, International Ballet also regularly collaborates with local musicians and brings innovative and engaging new works by resident and guest choreographers to Greenville's stages.
