Artist Statement

My work is a celebration of relationships. I shared a very close bond with my dog, Lucy, and it was she who inspired me to begin painting animals.

Whether the subject matter is an animal or something else, I strive to capture it with loose, expressive, brush strokes.

My work might make you giggle, honor a faithful companion, or brighten a wall in your home. At the end of the day, the joy and peace I feel when immersed in creating is passed along to the viewer.

Directions

Heading away from downtown Greenville on Stone Avenue, turn left on Bennett Street. House is on the left. Please park on the street and walk up driveway. Studio is the small white building in the back yard.
