I try not to take life too seriously and have a little fun with everything I do. But at the same time, I try to excel at any task before me. I think my art is a reflection of that philosophy. It’s not about any deep hidden meanings or political agenda. It’s about having fun and striving to produce excellent paintings. For me, the work I produce is fun to look at and easy to understand and enjoy. My goal is that viewers get the same feeling from my work. I find inspiration in textiles, animals, household objects, and other artists’ work… Ultimately I find my work to be a reflection of the events in my life and the loved ones that surround me.
Heading away from downtown Greenville on Stone Avenue, turn left on Bennett Street. House is on the left. Please park on the street and walk up driveway. Studio is the small white building in the back yard.
