Artist Statement

Doug has traveled throughout the US and internationally for over 20 years and his photography is a showcase of images capturing a 'sense of place', mini photo-essays that convey in a single image an artistic statements about the people, culture, and living environment that rarely fail to evoke an emotional response. His work has been featured at Artisphere, and in six previous Open Studio’s. For Open Studio's 2019 Doug has assembled a photo-essay featuring the Muralista's of South America; a collection of over 30 stunning street art images from Chile, Peru, Argentina and Brazil.
