My jewelry designs emerge from my fundamental curiosity. I find inspiration just about everywhere, from the shapes in highway overpasses and buildings to random patterns in scrap metal to organic materials I might encounter in a walk in the woods. I particularly love the forest and many of my creations incorporate trees and leaves. I love to travel and I value the open state of mind best achieved in novel environments and experiences beyond my comfort zone. However, I am ultimately drawn back to the foothills and mountains of the Blue Ridge where I find the peace and beauty and a creative community that allow me to shape and execute my ideas and to re-charge.
