As a children’s book illustrator, I love making art for the young at heart. My career began in music, as a classically trained singer working in operatic, concert and oratorio venues. I am fueled by a passion for a good story – something that has the power to bring us together in a common perspective. Whether through music or pictures, my goal is to bring stories to life for children of all ages. I get inspiration from directing emotion, creating costumes, world-building, and believing that the possibilities are endless. I have two vibrant children who keep me connected to my inner child. When I’ve sufficiently gathered wisdom from them, I can be found with watercolors, pencil and paper, or a book with pictures, and always keep chocolate within reach.
