These works are reflections of sky and trees on water with floating lily pads, studies from a visit to Monet’s Garden this past fall. I fell in awe of Giverny. I see the colors with my eyes closed and when I dream. While painting, I love the play between the colors and shapes of the surface of the water versus the natural objects of the landscape and the surface of the canvas.
