Details

The 40th South Carolina Juried Arts Competition is open to all artists who live in South Carolina and are over the age of 18. 2D work must be framed or gallery wrapped and securely wired, weigh no more than 50 lbs., and not exceed more than 54” in height or width including the frame. No clip-mounts, saw tooth hangers, or poster frames will be accepted. 3D work must require no assembly and may not exceed 75 lbs. in weight or 60” in height.

Submissions Deadline- Sunday, September 25th
Notification of accepted works- Friday, October 7th
Artwork delivered to Museum- October 10th to 21st
Exhibit opens- Wednesday, October 26th Opening Reception- Saturday, November 5th, 1pm to 3pm

1st Place- $1000
2nd Place- $750
3rd Place- $500
Honorable Mention (x2)- $250
Viewer's Choice Award- $125
