All artists play, even in their most serious endeavors, because the essence of play is that effort without thought of utilitarian purpose.
The Art of Play will feature 12 artists of the Southern Exposure Cooperative with work that addresses the theme of play or was inspired or generated by play. Works include literal toys, games, theatrical pieces, interactive works, and symbolic pieces.
