Historic St. Mary's Church in Greenville is seeking to fill up to two tenor staff singer vacancies.
Founded in 1852, the parish has been a center of Catholicism and faith for nearly 175 years in the center of Greenville. The choral program, consisting of the Parish Choir and Schola Cantorum, boasts a varied repertoire extending from Gregorian Chant to 20th century works with a particular emphasis in Renaissance and Baroque polyphony. Weekly obligations include a Wednesday evening rehearsal from 7:00-8:30pm and the Sunday Solemn Mass at 11:00am. Additional opportunities are available in the form of Advent and Lenten Sunday Vespers, weddings, and funerals. Competitive compensation is provided on a per call basis.
