Join us for an exhibition reception featuring paintings by Greenville, South Carolina artist Dana Jones, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 6:00 PM.
“Fascinated by the idea that color and shape can be language, my work often uses signal flags or traffic signs as a point of departure. Pushing beyond the parameters of solid color, simple shape, and succinct communication, I relax and extend the syntax of flags and signs to explore the idea that color and shape alone can form a language of storytelling and navigation.
The reclaimed packaging on which these pieces are painted brings an additional level of meaning to the overall composition, as graphics, folds, and punches have their own inherent message.” — Dana Jones

NOTE: This gallery is in a residential setting located near downtown
Greenville, South Carolina. Parking is free along the curb.

Regular hours are Tuesdays-Fridays 1-6 PM, Saturdays 1-4 PM.
